In addition to general medical consultations, we run a range of specialist clinics and services for our patients. The services we provide are listed here.

Long Term Conditions

If you have a long term condition, like diabetes or asthma, our team will help you manage your condition. Everyone with a long term health  condition will be contacted for a yearly review to monitor their condition and help them manage it.

Screening Tests

Screening is a way of finding out if people are at higher risk of a health problem, so that early treatment can be offered or information given to help them make informed decisions.

Woundcare

These services are provided in house by our nursing team.

Health Checks

We can carry out NHS health checks to patients who are aged 40 to 74. We also invite selected patients for enhanced health checks.

Sexual Health

Pre booked and ‘walk in & wait’ appointments are available 5 days a week across 3 sites – Stratford, Nuneaton & Rugby

Midwife

You no longer need to see a GP and can refer yourself for maternity care by filling out the online form. We’re happy to help if you have any difficulties completing the form or any other issues. You can speak to us in the Bluebell Birth Centre by calling 01926 495321 ext 6977.

Family Planning

All family planning matters can be discussed at appointments with our GP’s, practice nurses and Midwife. Dr Joanna Lazar, Dr Suzanne Redfern and Dr Jeni Burns are trained GP’s enabling them to perform insertion/removal of contraceptive implants and coils.

Well Baby & Child Health

Health Visitors support & offer advice to our families and their young children and can be contacted through the following telephone numbers

Health Visitor

On registering with the practice, our health visitors will make contact with parents of children under 5 years old; this provides the family with the opportunity to discuss family health issues and to obtain information about the local Health Visiting Service.

Diagnostics

We can organise these tests when required, some are carried out by other healthcare organisations.

Physiotherapy

Patients are able to refer themselves to see the physiotherapy team for a number of musculoskeletal problems:

  • Back or neck pain
  • recent strain or sprain
  • Joint pain
  • Muscle pain

This can be done using the physiotherapy self referraland there is no requirement to have consulted the GP beforehand.

Talking Therapies

If you are currently struggling with depression or anxiety it’s advisable that you get in touch with us and speak to a GP. There is talking therapy support available through Coventry and Warwickshire services.

Travel Vaccinations & Non-NHS Services

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you will need complete the online Travel Questionnaire. Once you have completed this our nursing team will review the request form and advise what/if you require any vaccines for your travels.

If you do require vaccine your appointment must be at least 6 weeks before you travel to ensure the best protection.

The NHS does not pay for all of the services we provide, so patients may be required to pay for some of these services. Please see attached list.

Our fees are in line with BMA approved national guidelines.
